Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was made available in 2017 by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca is the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. He released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album in the following year. He appeared later in 2021 on a duet TINI on her streaming smash song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is a product of a family of musicians the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. According to Turizo, music was a fundamental part of his life. While a youngster, was playing the ukulele as well as piano. Although he initially wanted to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singer would alter his direction in life.
