Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers, was born on the 8th of July, 1989 in Paris. As a young girl of just five years old, she moved to Oxfordshire and attended an Oxfordshire-based Dragon School. Emma was aspired to become a professional actor when she was just at the age of six. She attended Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, an acting institute with part-time courses. At the age of 10, she had already taken part in numerous Stagecoach plays and productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was released in 1999. Emma was discovered as a casting representative by her Oxford teacher of drama. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were chosen to play the three lead characters Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's first appearance in a film was as a part of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001. The movie set records for its opening and weekend ticket sales, and it was the top-grossing 2001 film. The film was praised by critics who praised the film and particularly the young performers. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British newspaper, was awed by her for her exceptional performance. Emma was awarded five nominations for her exceptional performance. Later, she won the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actress in an Film.
